I have a dream that one day this world will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all creatures are created equal.”
I have a dream that one day on the sleepy hills of the nations, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave masters will be able to sit down together at the circle of wellness.
I have a dream that one day even the international forums, great gatherings anesthetized with the opium of attachments, distracted by misconceptions, will be transformed into a supernova of courage and awareness.
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in an equanimous inner universe where they will not be judged by anyone including themselves. I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day down in the corporate consciousness, with its drowsy insensibility, with its leadership having its thoughts enslaved by the delusion of self wearing a cloak of profit, one day everywhere all God’s little creatures will be able to share perspectives of precision and oneness. I have a dream today.
I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be appreciated, the rough places will be explored, and the crooked places will be understood, and the glory of oneness shall be revealed, and all shall see it together.
